New Pledge Tier!

Hello everyone!
I have a special announcement! We have just finished adding a new pledge tier to the campaign!
Jes Cole, one of the illustrators for Manaforge, has graciously offered to work directly with a limited number of Manaforge backers in order to create unique artwork done in Manaforge's art style.
So, to that end, we've opened up a 'custom art' pledge tier. Dream up any sort of magic item you want. Think big, impressive, powerful! Then talk to Jes directly about your idea and she can help bring it to life! When you're done, you get a digital image containing an epic adventurer using your personalized magic item to ward off evil, plus some postcard-sized prints of this image mailed directly to you. Additionally, while this image won't be used directly in the base game of Manaforge, it could possibly become a candidate for inclusion in a future Manaforge expansion set. (If you want it to, that is.)
And, of course, the pledge tier still includes a copy of the game and the wallpaper images. :)
So put on your creativity hat and get to imagining. What's your favorite element? :)

Day 20: Card Tweaks

Hello everyone!
For your viewing enjoyment, here is a digital image of five of Manaforge's item cards, the five wand cards from the Dusk deck.

Those of you that are familiar with Manaforge's cards may notice that I've increased the base point value of these cards. Previously, these wands awarded a base of three points, plus one point per other wand you have. Now that base number is four, with the same bonus. This was done because I noticed that these cards tended to feel unimpressive compared to the other Dusk cards. Even though adding one point seems like a small change, it brings these wands closer into balance.
These new cards are up on Tabletopia, and should be on Tabletop Simulator soon. This also should be the last set of changes to Manaforge's rules. Once the rulebook catches up, the game should be done. :)
